Junior Web Developer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Junior web developers are expected to work together with the senior web developers to create an efficient work environment. The responsibilities of a junior web developer include: working both independently and as a team, developing and maintaining the website, writing and organising code, and more.
Education:
Successfully completed an undergraduate course in either software engineering, computer science, or any courses related.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in the web development industry. Understanding of web design, and experience of working with different coding languages such as HTML.
Salary:
Base salary – £35,000-£40,000
Full Stack Developer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working on both the front-end and the back-end of the website. This will include designing the website, and making sure that all of the code works. Full stack developers will also be expected to be good with their time management skills, and be able to work cooperatively on projects to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Education:
Successfully completed an undergraduate course in either software engineering, computer science, or any courses related.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience working in the web development industry. Very good understanding of website design, and experience working with many coding languages at once such as HTML, Python and JavaScript.
Salary:
Base salary – £55,000-£60,000
Front-End Developer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Front-End developers will be responsible for the front-end of the website, and what users will see. They will be responsible for optimising the website so the website runs smoothly and that users will not have any trouble using the website. It is also necessary that front-end developers communicate their decision and collaborate with back-end developers.
Education:
Successfully completed an undergraduate course in either software engineering, computer science, or any courses related.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in the web development industry. Experience working on the front-end is preferred, with also an understanding of back-end website design.
Salary:
Base salary – £45,000-£50,000
